This coffee lot was produced by Tadese Teko in the Shale village near the town of Worka in Yirgacheffe, Ethiopia. 

Tadese Teko farms across 8 hectares of highlands, and relies on traditional farming practices that rely on natural organic waste as fertiliser, as typical for smallholder farming in this region for generations. Hid coffee lots are usually processed via the washed method and supplied to nearby washing stations. This lot in particular was separated out in recognition of its exceptional quality, and sold as a single-producer lot as a part of the Single Farmer Project.

In the cup, this coffee tastes like jasmine and lemon zest, with a honey-like sweetness.
